Al-Isra University Holds Graduation Ceremony for UHLF-Sponsored Students in Gaza
In a celebration filled with pride and hope, Al-Isra University in Gaza organized a special ceremony to present diplomas to a group of students who completed their university education with the generous support of the United Holy Land Fund (UHLF) through our Educational Scholarship Grant (ESG) program.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Munther Azzam, Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs; Dr. Ihab Abu Al-Khair, Director of Public Relations; Mr. Mustafa Diab, Director of Student Affairs; along with university staff and the proud families of the graduates.
In his remarks, Dr. Munther Azzam expressed his deep pride in the graduates, noting that their achievement represents years of hard work and perseverance. He affirmed that the university is honored to produce a new generation of qualified young men and women who are ready to serve their community and contribute to building its future. He added that Al-Isra University will remain a steadfast supporter of its graduates, encouraging them to continue learning, growing, and pursuing excellence in their professional lives.
Mr. Mustafa Diab also congratulated the graduates, commending their dedication and resilience throughout their years of study. He emphasized that the Student Affairs Department was committed to supporting them at every stage of their academic journey, and wished them a bright and successful future while urging them to stay connected with their university.
In a message sent to the university on this occasion, UHLF Executive Director Dr. Nader Alghoul praised the sincere efforts of the university's academic and administrative teams, who share UHLF's belief in empowering Palestinian students to continue their education despite the immense challenges facing our people. "These graduates are the fruit of a true investment in human potential," Dr. Alghoul wrote, "and a bright hope for the future of Palestine. We pray for their success in their professional lives, and we trust they will be proud ambassadors for their homeland, their university, and the organization that stood by them throughout their academic journey."
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of diplomas to the graduates, surrounded by their loved ones who shared in this memorable and joyful moment.
UHLF's Educational Scholarship Grant (ESG) program has been a cornerstone of the organization's mission for decades, providing Palestinian students across 18 partner universities in Palestine with the financial support they need to earn their degrees and build brighter futures. In Gaza, where access to education is constantly threatened by conflict, economic hardship, and displacement, the ESG program represents more than a scholarship — it is a lifeline and a promise that the pursuit of knowledge will never be abandoned.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Al-Isra University for their continued and positive partnership, and to our generous donors and sponsors in the United States and around the world, whose unwavering support makes moments like these possible.
